How do I return an item?

Returns are not accepted for any reason once the custom product formula has been processed. Due to the nature of natural cosmetic ingredients, there can be variations in color, viscosity and scent of all bases from batch to batch. These changes are NOT grounds for a return. All sales are final. Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns and still guarantee purity of product to our customers. Products will be replaced or refunded, only in the case of a shipping error on our part or damage during shipping only once a claim has been issued by the freight carrier, not for accidentally ordering the wrong product, not liking the color, feel, thickness/thinness, scent or any other physical aspect of the product or shelf life issues that may occur to products you have pre-approved or products that you alter after the fact or store incorrectly.

If we make a mistake, then we will immediately reproduce your product and will ship it to you via the originally requested method of transport. Do not request for us to Overnight reproduced product when you originally paid for ground services.

Cancellations, if allowed, can only be done if we have not already started making your product or have not pre-ordered any required ingredients. Once production has begun, we cannot cancel, credit or refund for any reason.

In the event that Customer considers the Product(s) and/or Custom Formulation(s) provided by AliMar Labs (AML) to be defective in either materials or workmanship, Customer must give AML notice in writing of such alleged defect(s) no later than ten (10) days from the date of delivery of the Product(s) to Customer. Such written notice shall specifically state in what respects the Product(s) is nonconforming or defective.

Customer shall return to AML a sample of the Product(s) which it claims do not conform or are defective at Customer’s expense and safeguard the remaining product until resolution of the claim. If AML, in its sole discretion, agrees with Customer that the Product(s) are non-conforming or defective, and that the cause is determined to be the fault of AML, then AML shall have a reasonable time to either (i) cure any nonconforming product by substituting conforming Product(s) at AML expense or (ii) refund Customer’s purchase price within 1 business day of determination. Either remedy is subject to AML sole discretion.

In the event that Customer does not inform AML in writing regarding any alleged defect in the Product(s) within the ten-day notice period, Customer waives all rights under any applicable law to raise a claim.
